Came here for dessert after eating dinner nearby, close to closing time. We came literally 10 minutes before closing and they were really accommodating! The store is clean and there's space to sit. The service was super friendly. We ordered on the digital kiosks by the door. It was fun doing the fortune activity on the wall. I've never done something like that before. Luckily, I was only one in the group that got a positive fortune. I got the brown sugar boba fresh milk with less sweetness. When they handed me the drink, they said to stir it a certain amount of times for good luck. My boba had good flavor, although I think I could've turned down the sweetness a little bit more. It was especially sweet at the bottom. For the boba, even though it felt fresh and warm, the texture was bouncier than other boba shops'. It was strange, like it wasn't as soft as mochi, but it had a different chewy texture. It threw me off from liking the drink, and I wouldn't get this particular one again (or maybe just with different toppings). I'd come back and try something else!

It was good ! I loved it! They have kiosks to order your drinks. Limited seating inside and outside. I didn't really act with any of the servers but they smiled when they handed me my drink :) I got the original milk tea with boba (the drinks are pre-made). And make sure to get a drink with the pearls, if it doesn't say "boba" it won't come with boba. My husband got a taro and best taro I have had in a long time. My friend got a mango yogurt something and it was sooo refreshing !!

3.5 but rounding up to 4. Hubby and I came on a Wednesday around 1 pm after getting lunch nearby. I've had XFT in my bookmarks for a while and was really excited to try their stir fry boba. The storefront is nice and clean. They have 2 ordering kiosks and a cute setup on the right where you can draw giant sticks to get your fortune (I forget what this is called and forgot to take a photo). We ordered the earl grey MT and brown sugar MT with stir fried boba. I got my brown sugar MT with no sugar to offset the boba. This was the perfect level of sweetness for me and the tea itself was so good - truly top quality which is why I rounded up to 4 stars. The boba, however, was inconsistent and disappointing. Some pearls were delicious and had a nice bouncy texture but others were straight up mushy. I've heard you had to get it right when it's freshly made for it to be perfect, but I was disappointed that it was so mushy just two hours after opening. Flavor was good though and tasted very fresh - you can even see one of the coworkers working on the fresh boba on the side counter. Solid tea spot. I'm willing to give the boba another chance next time - maybe we'll get lucky with a fresher batch.

The huge crowd is over, no more long line to get boba drinks here. We visited on Sunday afternoon, there's almost no wait. We have the normal boba milk tea and matcha red boba milk. While waiting for our drinks, we tried the fortune stick, it's fun. Their brown sugar boba is always great, I like the smooth texture, warm and the sugary taste of the boba. However matcha red boba is not our favorite, the boba stick together, it doesn't go thru the boba straw. I have to get it with spoon.

Finally tried the famous Brown Sugar Boba! There were both good and bad things about the drink. The good part was fhe boba itself. Perfectly soft and chewy and coated in a delicious caramelized brown sugar glaze. However, the drink was just okay. It is simply plain milk from the grocery store (we actually saw them using exactly that). It lacked creaminess and the top was not torched enough, so we didn't get to enjoy the hardened bits of creme brulee I was looking for. I think the boba pearls really saved the drink, or else it would've been very mediocre. Wasn't too busy on a Friday close to closing time. You order on a kiosk so there isn't much service interaction. The shop was nicely lit with warm lighting.

Wow! We were excited to try the boba here after hearing about the hype and that this is a much loved chain from Taiwan. We ordered pickup to avoid a wait but the store was surprisingly pretty empty on a Saturday afternoon. For drinks we got the brown sugar boba milk tea and the rose tea with lime. I loved the boba - perfectly chewy and the right amount of sweetness in the boba itself. I was glad I got the brown sugar milk tea with less sugar as the boba itself sweetened the drink and the tea helped balance out the brown sugar flavor. The rose tea unfortunately was lackluster, it was oddly sour and didn't have much tea or lime flavor. Definitely come for the boba, it was absolutely the highlight!
